A new study shows that female of menopause Age has a lot to do with their relatives, especially their mothers and sisters.
Researchers analyzed more than 2,000 women aged 31 to 90 and found that if your mother or sister went through menopause at age 45, you are six times more likely to go through menopause at age 45. And if you have late menopause (age 54 and older), your mother is six times more likely to have late menopause, and your sister is twice as likely.
The researchers noted: "Genes have a strong influence on age at menopause, but lifestyle is also important, and women can change the timing of menopause through their lifestyle. ”
Statistics show that 51 is the average age for women to reach menopause, but menopause also occurs around the age of 40.
