Prostate reflex zone massage

By:Hazel Views:426

Prostate massage is an environment in which prostatitis occurs, when the prostate ducts and acini are blocked by exudation of live or dead bacteria and their products and tissue reactions, much like a micro abscess. Theoretically, prostate massage can relieve the obstruction of these gland ducts and allow normal drainage, making it easier for antibiotics to penetrate. Therefore, it is recommended to massage the prostate 1-2 times a week to help the drainage of prostate fluid. Generally, after massage, the patient feels comfortable, and local discomfort and swelling are relieved. However, if symptoms worsen or fever occurs after massage, massage should be suspended and antibiotic treatment should be added.

The patient lies in a supine position. The operator stands on the left side of the patient's abdomen and presses the patient's middle epigastrium point with the metacarpophalangeal joint surface of the left index finger, and then overlaps the heel of the right hand to press the dorsal side of the left index finger metacarpophalangeal joint. Then, press downward with the patient's breathing, and maintain the pressure for 5 minutes after reaching the shoulder depth. After the patient feels numbness and swelling in the lower abdomen, perineum or lower limbs, he slowly raises his hand to allow the heat flow to pass through the bladder and urethra to the toes of the lower limbs to warm the spleen and kidneys, clear away heat and remove dampness. In addition, rubbing the Baliao acupoint horizontally, pressing and clicking the Baliao acupoint will have immediate effects.

To catch the drop, the surgeon places the thumbs of both hands on the Shuidao point, and then gradually presses downwards. After the patient feels a fever in his lower abdomen, he keeps pressing for 1 minute and then slowly raises his hand to open up the lower Jiao water channel.; Then rub the patient's lower abdomen with soft and firm palms counterclockwise to promote qi and blood, remove dampness and remove heat.

The patient is in a prone position, and the surgeon stands on the left side of the patient's waist, and uses the palm of one hand to rub up and down the patient's lumbosacral spine. It is better to use the heat to penetrate the Shenshu and Dachangshu points to warm and replenish spleen yang.

Treat according to the above method,

Note: Acupoint selection method

Zhongwan: midline of the front, 4 inches above the navel.

Water channel: 3 inches below the navel and 2 inches beside Guanyuan point.

(1) Related to the massage method: If the fingers are inserted too deep during massage and massage into the seminal vesicles, the semen will drip out together with the prostatic fluid. As a result, the prostatic fluid will contain some cell components in the seminal vesicles and cannot accurately reflect the number of white blood cells in the prostatic fluid.

(2) It is related to the amount of force used during massage: Excessive force during massage can cause damage to the prostate and significantly increase the number of cells, especially red blood cells, in the prostate fluid. If the force used during massage is too light, most of the prostate fluid cannot be squeezed out, resulting in a relative reduction in the number of cells in the prostate fluid.

(3) It is related to the nature of the lesion: In the hyperemic stage of acute prostatitis, the prostatic ducts and interstitial cells are only congested and edematous, so the number of cells in the prostatic fluid is small. In the vesicular stage, more micro-abscesses are formed, in the parenchymal stage, the small abscesses gradually increase in size, and the number of white blood cells in the prostatic fluid increases significantly. In chronic prostatitis, due to fibrotic changes in the prostate, the tubules are blocked by pus or epithelial cells, and the number of white blood cells in the prostatic fluid may be normal.
