The pressure of life in modern society is increasing day by day, and people will find themselves trapped by "anxiety" if they are not careful. You should be careful at this time, because long-term anxiety may induce anxiety disorders, depression, insomnia, schizophrenia and other diseases.
anxiety disorder
When it comes to chronic anxiety, the first thing most people think of is anxiety disorders, and that’s certainly true. Its onset is closely related to mental and psychological factors. It is prone to occur in people who have long-term mental stress, have major problems among family members, and whose family environment is not conducive to the healthy development of mental health and interpersonal relationships, leading to long-term negative emotions such as anxiety. This will lead to mental stress and autonomic nervous system dysfunction, and may induce anxiety disorders in the long run.
depression
The occurrence of depression is also related to psychological factors. If a person is chronically anxious, overly worried, extremely sensitive, thinks he is incompetent, and always blames himself, depression can easily be induced.
insomnia
Psychological factors are the main cause of insomnia. Various unpleasant events in life and work can cause long-term anxiety and sadness, which can cause or aggravate insomnia. Moreover, when patients pay too much attention to their own sleep problems, they cannot guarantee normal sleep. Sometimes they have constant nightmares even when they fall asleep, leading to more anxiety and a vicious cycle.
Schizophrenia
If long-term anxiety is caused by factors such as losing a job or home, divorce, breakup, physical, sexual or emotional abuse, etc., it may also lead to abnormal brain function, abnormal perception, thinking, emotion and behavior, and induce schizophrenia.
Finally, I would like to remind everyone that long-term anxiety will not only cause the above-mentioned mental and psychological related diseases, but may also induce coronary heart disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases and other diseases. Therefore, once you find that you have been anxious for a long time, you should make adjustments as soon as possible. If it is more serious, you can also seek help from a psychologist to avoid inducing diseases and affecting your health.
