China Medical News and Information Association establishes clinical branch of traditional Chinese medicine

　　On the evening of November 27, when Beijing was experiencing its greatest cooling this winter, the lecture hall of Beijing Xiaotangshan Rehabilitation Hospital was full of enthusiasm and warmth. The preparatory meeting of the Chinese Medicine Clinical Branch of the China Medical News and Information Association was held here.

　　Mr. Zhu Zhiyou, the instructor and chief traditional Chinese pharmacist of the inheritance studio of Zhu Zhiyou, a nationally renowned veteran Chinese medicine expert at Sichuan Hongya Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Liu Jingyuan of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, a well-known expert in febrile disease research in my country, He Qiurong, Secretary-General of the China Medical News and Information Association, Xu Shuxiang, Executive Deputy Secretary-General, and other relevant experts and leaders attended this meeting. More than 100 representatives of candidate members and directors of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Branch participated.

　　Xu Shuxiang briefly introduced the China Medical News Information Association and its development history, as well as the preparation overview of the branch. After several rounds of elections, Liu Congming, president of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Ancient Books Publishing House, was elected as the first president of the branch. Yang Jianyu, editor-in-chief of China Traditional Chinese Medicine Modern Distance Education Magazine, was elected as the executive president of the branch. Liu Guanjun, chairman of Henan Handi Pharmaceutical, was elected as the executive vice president of the branch. Jian Cai Shunli, former vice president of Kangbao, Zhang Haochen, vice president of China Medical Herald, and Sun Zengyan, vice president of Beijing Xiaotangshan Rehabilitation Hospital, were elected as vice presidents of the branch, and Zhang Haochen concurrently served as secretary-general; Mr. Zhu Zhiyou was elected as the chairman of the committee of commissioners of the branch, and Professor Liu Jingyuan was elected as the deputy chairman.

　　The China Medical News and Information Association pays great attention to the development of traditional medicine in my country and has attached great importance to the development of traditional medicine in many social activities carried out in recent years. This year, the association organized senior reporters from CCTV, China Youth Daily, Health News, Science and Technology Daily, China Medical News and other media to go to Kunming, Wenshan and other places in Yunnan to conduct on-the-spot investigation and intensive interviews on the industrial development and application of authentic medicinal materials notoginseng. It also organized CCTV reporters to go to Tonghua County, Jilin to investigate and interview the development of the ginseng industry, so as to promote the smooth development of the quality of authentic medicinal materials and traditional Chinese medicines in my country.

　　After years of preparation, the organizational framework and main functions of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Branch have been clarified. The newly established Clinical Branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine will make full use of the Internet + work concept, mobilize and exert the role of a treasure trove of knowledge among Chinese experts and scholars of traditional Chinese medicine, obtain strong support from traditional Chinese medicine enterprises, and carry out research on the application of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, standards research, and information research. And communication, business training, science popularization and other work, close to the grassroots, close to the people, close to life, build a more convenient and closer communication and exchange platform for government departments, traditional Chinese medicine medical institutions, enterprises and public health, improve clinical diagnosis and treatment levels, and promote health.
