When it comes to acne, everyone is familiar with it. Acne will appear on our face. This should be something that everyone does not want to happen! This is also a big deal for people who love beauty, but it is not surprising. However, it is a bit scary if acne also appears on our genitals. What is going on? 1. Balanitis
The edges of erythema and papules on the glans continue to expand, or the blisters are small and can appear in clusters, often accompanied by itching and an increase in local white dirt. Due to the different classifications of balanitis, the manifestations and treatments are also different. It is necessary to obtain secretions for culture examination and judgment, and then symptomatic treatment.
2. Ectopia of sebaceous glands
It is a sebaceous gland disease, which is caused by the physiological degeneration of sebaceous gland development and sebaceous gland hyperplasia. The lesions are characterized by miliary-sized flat papular lesions without obvious raised skin, which are distributed in clusters. Most of the lesions are asymptomatic and mostly appear on the foreskin or scrotum. Generally no treatment is required.
3. Pearly papules
A common skin disease that occurs in the coronal sulcus of young and middle-aged men. The cause is unknown. It manifests as regularly arranged translucent pearl-like papules. It has no subjective symptoms, does not affect health, and does not require treatment.
4. Genital herpes
Most of them have a history of uncleanness, and the blisters can appear singly or in clusters. The pain is obvious after the blisters burst, and blood tests can confirm the diagnosis. This disease is a sexually transmitted disease and is relatively easy to relapse, so it needs early detection and early treatment.
5. Parafrenal gland hyperplasia
It occurs on both sides of the frenulum in men. It is a symmetrical single sesame-sized or needle-tip papule, pink, asymptomatic, and does not grow in size for a long time. No special treatment is required.
6. Scabies
There are many single blisters with obvious itching. They can also appear as itchy nodules on the scrotum and external genitalia. The itching is worsened at night. It can also appear on the inner thighs, lower abdomen, and between the fingers; it needs to be distinguished from urticaria. Scabies is contagious and requires prompt treatment.
7. Genital warts
The lesions initially appear as small, light red papules, which gradually enlarge and increase in size. They are distributed singly or in clusters. They are moist and soft, with an uneven surface, with protrusions like chicken combs or cauliflower flowers. Red or dirty gray. The roots often have pedicles and are prone to erosion and exudation, and can easily bleed when touched. Purulent secretions often accumulate between the cracks of the skin lesions, causing a foul odor, and secondary infection can be caused by scratching. This disease often has no subjective symptoms, but some patients may experience foreign body sensation, pain, itching or pain. Pathological examination can confirm the diagnosis. This disease is a sexually transmitted disease and requires prompt treatment.
8. Molluscum contagiosum
Most of them are single and do not appear in clusters. They look like blisters, but they are not blisters. They are usually sunken in the middle. The first choice of treatment is curettage, with the purpose of completely extrude the molluscum small bodies in the skin lesions, and then applying 2% iodine tincture, which can effectively remove the skin lesions.
