Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Popular Science Media Communication Alliance was established in Beijing

　　On January 7, the Office of the Commissioner for Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Construction and Science Popularization of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine signed an agreement with China Traditional Chinese Medicine Newspaper and other units to jointly establish the Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture and Science Popularization Media Communication Alliance.

　　“During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the Commissioner's Office will give priority to the media members in the alliance to provide expert lectures on traditional Chinese medicine culture science popularization tours, and work with various cooperative media to push excellent traditional Chinese medicine cultural science popularization videos, audios and graphic materials, enrich the content of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine health programs, and improve the quality of programs.

　　Ma Jianzhong, deputy director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, pointed out at the signing ceremony that with the improvement of living standards, society is increasingly paying attention to health care. Various media have launched different types of health care programs to disseminate science knowledge on disease prevention and health care to the public, which are well received by the public. The establishment of the Media Communication Alliance for Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture and Science Popularization is an exploration of integrating the superior resources of media and traditional Chinese medicine. It is of great significance for expanding the influence of traditional Chinese medicine culture and science popularization and promoting the improvement of people's health literacy.
