The occurrence of hematospermia at the age of 60 may be related to prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis, urinary system stones, reproductive system tumors or trauma. Specific symptoms and examinations need to be combined for a clear diagnosis.

1. Prostatitis:

Chronic prostatitis is a common cause of hematospermia in elderly men. Inflammation causes prostate congestion and edema, which may be accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, or perineal pain. Bacterial prostatitis requires antibiotics, while non-bacterial prostatitis requires hot compresses and physical therapy.
