Women drinking tea can prevent heart disease
The British "Daily Telegraph" cited research results on the 16th and reported that tea can effectively prevent the deposition of fatty substances in the walls of arteries. But this phenomenon only occurs in female in vivo. Researchers examined 2,613 people using ultrasound male and carotid artery fat deposition in 3,984 women, with an average age of 73.
The results showed that 45% of women who did not drink tea had carotid arteriosclerosis plaques caused by fat deposition. This figure was 42.5% among women who drank 1 to 2 cups of tea a day, and 33.7% among women who drank more than 3 cups of tea a day.
Studies have also found that women with high blood pressure may also benefit from drinking tea. But the research couldn't explain why tea didn't have similar effects on men. One explanation is that tea may provide substances that synthesize estrogen, which can protect women from heart disease.
