Each type is further divided into mild (I degree) erosion area less than 1/3 of the entire cervical area; moderate (II degree) erosion area accounting for 1/3~2/3 of the entire cervical area; severe (III degree) erosion area accounting for more than 2/3 of the entire cervical area.

The main symptom is increased leucorrhea, which is usually milky white or light yellow purulent mucus, sometimes accompanied by a fishy smell, sometimes bloody leucorrhea or bleeding after sexual intercourse. At the same time, it is accompanied by pain in the lower abdomen or waist, which is aggravated every time during sexual intercourse, menstruation and defecation.

In fact, as long as active treatment is cervical erosion , regular cancer screening can reduce cervical cancer occurrence. Cervical erosion is mainly treated locally, including physical therapy, drug therapy and surgery.

It should be emphasized that it is difficult to differentiate between cervical erosion, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, and early cervical cancer. Cervical cytology examination is required before treatment to confirm the diagnosis.
